Fully accountable for a substantial publishing programme in digital and print media, I achieved revenue growth of 15% to £36M with improved OI%. I increased the productivity of the division’s 47 staff and, by introducing effective project management, improved product development schedules and delivery. I developed a new and transformative approach to business planning and drove significant improvements the company’s marketing and brand development effectiveness. By developing and managing significant relationships with external educational partners, I secured long-term commitments to several highly-successful commercial partnerships and enhanced the alliance with AQA.
